Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn was “sacked” from soap after joining adult site OnlyFans

Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn has reportedly been fired for joining adult membership site OnlyFans.

The actress, who is one of the soap opera’s biggest stars, has reportedly left the show after being unable to “come to a resolution” with the bosses.

Sarah, mother of a child, who appeared on Hollyoaks intermittently under the Mandy Richardson name since 1996, previously told her Instagram followers that she was “taking back control” by joining the racy website and using it to share her “sexiest” images.

A spokeswoman for Hollyoaks told The Sun that they are hopeful she could stay as mum Mandy, but they “respect” her choice to stay on OnlyFans.

“Hollyoaks is a youth drama with a lot of young viewers, who follow our cast very closely, both on and off the soap opera,” the spokesperson said.

“We take our responsibility to our young audiences very seriously, and as a result, the show does not allow any member of the Hollyoaks cast to be active on certain websites over the age of 18.

“We were hoping we could come to a resolution with Sarah that would allow her to stay in her role as Mandy, but we respect her choice to continue producing content on OnlyFans.

“In the past four years since returning to the show, her legacy character has been an integral part of some of our most important storylines and we will be very sad to see her go.”

Kerry Katona, who has earned her first £ 1million since OnlyFans bankruptcy, applauded Sarah for joining her on the site.

Kerry, a mother of five, praised Sarah in her latest column for New Magazine.

Kerry wrote: “I think it’s great to see so many celebrities being open to using it.

“I think the stigma has faded a bit now.

“We are seeing more empowerment and acceptance from people who want to earn money and celebrate their bodies.

” It’s a company. I’m there constantly, with my Marnii dating app and my clothing brand.

“I don’t see why it’s such a big deal when people find other ways to increase their income – go if you want! “

Sarah wrote of her decision last week: “It’s a decision I’ve thought about a long time, not a decision I made lightly or on a whim, it’s about taking back control, to have confidence in myself and to have full power over my choices.

“I love doing photoshoots, I always will, that’s how I entered the theater industry, at the age of 12, I decided I wanted to be a model and I was enrolled in a modeling course, joined an agency and had my first professional I had my first television audition and the rest is history.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to some pretty amazing places for photo ops since I was 17, that being said, I never felt in control, neither over content nor over finances.

“I made a men’s magazine out of a men’s magazine and a calendar out of a calendar, enjoyed every shoot but never felt like I had a lot to say about them.

“I was confronted with other girls and I felt deflated if I had not been chosen for a shoot or for a cover, I was airbrushed, retouched and ‘enhanced’ without consent. and unnecessary and I didn’t always receive a photo or copy (the wording of an interview) approval, leaving both my image and my words distorted.

“The older I get, the more cathartic it is to take back control, set healthy boundaries, and know my worth and worth.”
